Here's what you need to know about the tip feature.

What Are Tips?

Tips are a feature that lets you send appreciation and encouragement to creators. You can send tips from a post or from a creator's profile page.

How to Send a Tip

1. Tap "Send a Tip" on a post or creator's profile page
2. Enter an amount
3. Enter a message (required, up to 200 characters)
4. Review the details and tap "Send" to complete

Tip Amounts

You can freely set any amount between ¥100 and ¥100,000.

Payment

Tips are paid from your wallet balance. A service fee (10%) is charged in addition to the tip amount.

If your balance is insufficient, you'll need to top up your wallet first. See Wallet & Top-Up for details on how to top up.

Example for a 1,000 yen tip (standard fee rates): The buyer service fee of 10% (100 yen) is added, for a total of 1,100 yen deducted from your wallet. On the creator's side, the fan-club fee of 15% (150 yen) is deducted from the 1,000 yen tip, and 850 yen is added to the creator's earnings. The creator's fee rate is 15% by default, but may be set individually under a separate agreement with us.

Tips and Conversations

When you send a tip, a tip message is automatically sent to the conversation (chat) with the creator. The tip amount and your message will appear in the conversation.

The creator can reply to thank you for the tip from within the conversation.

Tip messages appear in the conversation, but if you are not subscribed to a chat-enabled plan, you cannot send regular messages. If you'd like to continue chatting, consider subscribing to a chat-enabled plan.

Adding a message to your tip is a great way to show your support. Consider including some words of encouragement.
