Account Deletion
Here's what you need to know about deleting your account.
Before You Delete Your Account
Deleting your account will result in the loss of all data associated with it. Please make sure to check and address the following before proceeding:
Before deleting your account
- Use up your wallet balance --- Your balance will be forfeited after deletion and cannot be refunded
- Download your receipts --- Save any receipts you need from "Account" > "Purchase History"
- For creators: Complete any pending payout requests. Any unrequested earnings will be forfeited upon deletion
- For creators: Make sure your bank account is registered
How to Delete Your Account
- Open "Account"
- Tap the red "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page
- Review the information shown (your wallet balance, active subscriptions, etc.)
- Select a reason category (required)
- Optionally, enter a detailed reason (up to 1,000 characters)
- Check the box for "I understand the consequences of account deletion"
- Tap "Delete Account" and approve again in the confirmation dialog
If you are currently active as a creator, you must complete "Creator Withdrawal" before deleting your user account. The deletion screen will display a link to the Creator Withdrawal flow.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When you delete your account, the following will occur:

| Creator account (if applicable) | You can withdraw as a user while remaining a creator. Subscribers' monthly plans are automatically canceled, pending payout requests are automatically rejected and returned to your earnings balance, and that balance is forfeited together with your wallet balance. Identity verification documents are immediately deleted. To stop creator activities only and keep using SMFans, use "Creator Withdrawal" instead |

For creators
Pending payout requests will be automatically rejected, but the amount will be returned to your earnings balance. We recommend completing your payout requests before deleting your account. Account deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.
Data After Deletion
- Personal information (such as your name) is immediately deleted upon account deletion. Your email address is retained permanently to prevent re-registration
- Transaction records are retained for 7 years in accordance with tax laws (Income Tax Act / Corporation Tax Act) in a de-identified format
- Posted media is retained only for paid posts that already have purchasers, in order to protect those purchasers. All other posted media is deleted at the same time as your withdrawal
Re-registration After Deletion
After deleting your account, you cannot re-register with the same email address permanently.
Data from your previous account (purchase history, follow relationships, etc.) cannot be restored under any circumstances.

Refunds (including prorated refunds) are not provided when a creator withdraws, is suspended, or is deleted. For details, see Article 27 of the Terms of Service.
If a Creator's Account Is Suspended or Deleted

Difference between withdrawal and suspension / deletion
- Withdrawal: Voluntary withdrawal by the creator. Monthly plans, bundle plans, and individually purchased content remain viewable until the end of the period (or permanently, in the case of single purchases)
- Suspension / Deletion: An action taken by the platform for policy violations. All purchased content becomes immediately inaccessible regardless of how it was purchased
