How to verify your email address and phone number, and manage your identity information.

Email Verification

Verifying your email address allows you to reset your password and receive important notifications.

Verification Steps

1. Open "Account"
2. Tap "Email" in the "Settings" section
3. Tap "Change Email Address" and enter your new email address
4. Tap "Send Verification Email"
5. Click the link in the confirmation email to complete

On the Email screen, a "Verified" badge next to your current address indicates that your email has been verified.

If you don't receive the confirmation email, check your spam folder. Please make sure you can receive emails from @smfans.jp.

Phone Verification

Verifying your phone number enhances your account security.

Verification Steps

1. Open "Account"
2. Tap "Phone Verification" in the "Settings" section
3. Tap "Register Phone Number" (or "Change Phone Number")
4. Enter your country code and phone number, then enter the verification code sent via SMS to complete

Phone verification is required to apply as a creator. If you plan to become a creator, we recommend completing verification in advance for a smoother process.

Identity Information (Creators Only)

The "Account" > "Identity Information" page is available only to approved creators (including operators who also serve as creators). It is not displayed to fan users, applicants under review, or rejected users.

Your identity information must match the contents of your verified identity document. Please edit it only when your actual information changes (such as a name change after marriage or relocation). Intentionally changing your name or date of birth so that it differs from the document is treated as fraud and may result in account suspension or payout suspension.

You cannot edit identity information while a review is in progress (including re-review of a creator application). Please wait until the review result is available.

If you are applying as a creator (including applicants under review or those reapplying after rejection), enter all information through the "Creator Application" flow at once. For full name, date of birth, address, country of residence, and identity documents, see Submitting Identity Documents.
