Who Can Become a Creator?
To become a creator on SMFans, you must meet all of the following requirements:

About the "Video Transmission-Type Sex-Related Special Business" registration
SMFans has filed the legally required registration as a "Video Transmission-Type Sex-Related Special Business" (Eizo Soshin-gata Seifu-zoku Tokushu Eigyo). Creators who primarily distribute adult content may also need to file their own registration. For details, see Legal Matters.
Application Steps
- Log in to SMFans
- Open "Account" from the menu
- Tap "Creator Registration"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the required information
- Upload your identity documents
- Submit your application
Review Timeframe
The review typically takes up to 3 business days. You will be notified of the results at your registered email address.
Weekends and public holidays are not counted as business days. If there are consecutive holidays, the review may take longer than usual.
