Allowing Promotional Use
When you create a post, you can choose whether to allow the operator to use it as promotional material.
What is this feature?
If you allow it, the operator may use your post (thumbnail, sample, body text, etc.) as advertising and promotional material for SMFans. For example:
- Features and reach-outs on the official SMFans X account and the media site
- Placement in in-app recommendations and pickup slots
- Use in various advertising creatives
More exposure can mean greater awareness and a chance to gain new fans, so we encourage you to consider it positively.
About the setting

If you do not want to allow it, turn the toggle off before posting. For limited posts, you can also change it anytime from the edit screen after publishing.
FAQ
If I allow it, will my post always be used in ads?
No. It is permission that the post may be used. Not every post will be used in advertising.
Am I at a disadvantage if I don't allow it?
It does not affect review, publishing, or monetization. However, your posts will not be eligible for promotion or reach-outs from the operator.
I want to change the setting after posting.
For limited posts, you can change it anytime from the post edit screen.
