Renewal & Cancellation
Learn about the monthly plan renewal cycle, cancellation procedures, and what happens when there are changes to a creator.
Renewal Cycle
Monthly plans auto-renew each month based on the date you subscribed.
Example: If you subscribe on January 15, your expiration date is February 15. Upon renewal, it extends to March 15.
Payment at Renewal
On the renewal date, payment is processed automatically as follows:
- The plan fee is deducted from your wallet balance
- If your wallet balance is insufficient, auto top-up is initiated against your registered payment method
- Once auto top-up succeeds, the plan fee is paid from the updated balance
Pre-Renewal Notice
If your balance is insufficient 3 days before the renewal date, we will send you an email informing you that auto top-up is scheduled. If your balance is sufficient, no pre-renewal notice is sent and the renewal proceeds silently on the day.
If Renewal Fails
If your wallet balance is insufficient and auto top-up also fails (e.g. card expired or unusable), the renewal fails.
- You'll receive a notification — A renewal failure notice will be sent via email and in-app notification
- The plan moves to the "Renewal failed (failed)" state — Access to exclusive content is paused
- You can re-subscribe from "Active Plans" — After confirming or updating your payment method, tap the "Re-subscribe" button (a new billing cycle starts from the re-subscription date)
How to Cancel
You can cancel a monthly plan with the following steps:
- Open "Account"
- Select "Active Plans"
- Select the plan you want to cancel
- Tap the "Cancel" button
- Tap "Cancel" on the confirmation screen to complete
Content Access After Cancellation
After canceling, you can still view content until the end of your paid period (expiration date). No prorated refunds are provided.
| Period | Content Access |
|---|---|
| After cancellation until expiration | Accessible |
| After expiration | Not accessible |
If you are still within the paid period, you can resume auto-renewal using the "Resume" button on the "Active Plans" page (no additional charge is made).
If There Are Changes to a Creator
If a Creator Deletes Their Account
- The plan's auto-renewal stops, and at the end of the current paid period the plan moves to "Cancelled" (no prorated refund for mid-period cancellation)
- Posts available under your active monthly plan remain viewable until the end of the paid period
- Individually purchased content and back issues remain viewable even after the creator's withdrawal (to protect buyers)
If a Creator Is Banned (Account Suspended)
- The creator's content becomes immediately inaccessible (no refund)
- The plan's auto-renewal stops, and at the end of the current paid period the plan moves to "Cancelled"
- Individually purchased content and back issues also become inaccessible
- This is due to a full content suspension for policy violations
Bundle Renewal
Bundle Renewal Cycle
If you subscribed through a bundle plan (3 / 6 / 12 months), it auto-renews under the same terms when the bundle period ends.
Example: If you subscribe to a 3-month bundle on January 15, your expiration date is April 15. Upon renewal, it extends to July 15.
If Bundle Renewal Fails
Bundle renewals are also paid automatically from your wallet balance. If your balance is insufficient and auto top-up fails, the renewal will fail just like with regular monthly plans.
- If you are subscribed to multiple plans, all plans fail together (partial renewals do not occur)
- The steps after failure are the same as regular renewal failures — confirm your payment method, then tap "Re-subscribe" on the "Active Plans" page
